Housekeeping Floor Supervisor has to be thoroughly familiar with the Laundry Standard & Procedure, Fire & Emergency Manual as well as Employee’s handbook (House Rule).
To attend Housekeeping meetings, briefings and to follow up on Room Floor logbook issues.
To assist Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager to supervise consistency and maintain established quality standards.
To maintain the appropriate co-ordination with the Housekeeping Co-ordinator/ Order Takers as well as other Departments, especially Front Office and Maintenance Department.
Ensures the cleaning products are used correctly.
Actively involved in On – The – Job Training sessions.
Control stock level of amenities on trolleys and pantries.
Strict control of Master keycards.
Informs HKM or in absence AHKM of any incidents that occurred in the Department and Guest Rooms, that requires special attention.
Delegates certain duties to Room Attendant to achieve optimum performance.
To follow the Lost & Found procedure.
In the absence of HKM or his/ her next designate, co-ordinates with Duty-Manager on duty in case of Guest complaints or Guest belongings lost and damaged.
Perform the other duties as RDM, AHKM's assigned.
