Talent Development Assistant

• Assisting Talent & Development Manager to ensure efficient operation of Talent Development Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)

• Responsible for the execution and set up for the new associate discovery program and to conduct evaluation at the end.
• Edit training material and conduct hotel internal training courses.
• Assist in training Departmental Trainers.
• Identify each department’s training needs.
• Assist in setting up foreign language courses, administrative works, evaluation and assessments. Help associates to solve any problem they may experience.
• Assist to monitor and instruct departmental training.
• Assist the Talent Development Manager in organizing training activities.
• Assists to organize outside and cross trainings.
• Responsible for editing and distributing hotel training plan and monthly training report.
• Translate, edit, write, calculates, update training materials and training projects.
• Maintains hotel training records properly.
• Assisting Talent & Development Manager to develop new training programs.
• Assist to manage and monitor the Training Budget.
• Accomplishes other work as instructed by the Talent Development Manager.
• Other standard responsibilities
• Complies to the company policies.
• Works within all pre-set budgetary limits.
• Takes on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.
• Develops and updates policies and manuals, as related to the division/department, for implementation in the field, while ensuring compliance to the same for consistency across the group.
• Actively participates in and leads recruitment and talent development for the division/department, to meet both current and future needs.
• Is a “brand ambassador” at all times and ensures brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.
• Models the company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times.

• Fluent spoken English.
• Excellent presentation skill.

• Qualifications –
• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/ HR Management / Other related qualifications from a recognized institution.

Experience –

• More than 2 years experiences in managing Training and Development function in 5 star hotels, and a pre-opening experience is an advantage.
