Store & Receiving Clerk

• The Receiving Clerk is responsible to the Receiving Supervisor. The Receiving Clerk assists the Receiving Supervisor and performs receipt of merchandise according to hotel procedures.

Essential duties and responsibilities – (Key activities)

• All items received by the hotel pass through the receiving area. Verify that merchandise is supported by order slips, market lists, grocery lists, and other order documentation.
• Verify the quantity, unit price, quality, and packing of goods received agrees with the order.
• Verify that the goods are delivered to the designated sections and that the receipt is confirmed by signature from a person in charge in that section. Stamp all delivery slips from the vendors as inspected.
• Maintain a copy all order documentation, showing the scheduled delivery dates, on file.
• Prepare a Daily Receiving Summary.
• Submit the Daily Receiving Summary, invoices or delivery slips to the F&B Cost Controller or the Accounts Payable Clerk.
• Keep receiving areas clean and good sanitary conditions at all times.
• Keep all measuring instruments are functioning properly Perform inspections and adjustments when deemed necessary.
• Other duties as instructed by a superior.

• Takes on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.
• Develops and updates policies and manuals, as related to the division/department, for implementation in the field, while ensuring compliance to the same for consistency across the group.
• Actively participates in and leads recruitment and talent development for the division/department, to meet both current and future needs
• Is a “brand ambassador” at all times and ensures brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.

Qualifications –

• Related qualifications from a recognized institution.
• At least 02 years experience at similar role at international brand.
