Mô tả công việc

1. Established procedures to minimize errors, fraud and waste.

2. Conduct regular and timely meetings with all laundry shift leaders and associates.

3. To lead all shift leaders and associates to the most sufficient operation in producing fresh linen and clothes with most energy efficient manner.

4. Personally handle and resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality. Oversee to ensure all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner

5. Take all associate feedback and look into it and take actions for change and grow.

6. Prepare monthly rosters to manage the laundry department’s FTE vs occupancy forecasts to meet budget. Take into consideration annual leaves and PH Off in Lieu schedules within timeline.

7. Conduct development and performance reviews, identifying key personnel for further career development. Implement and maintain training systems to ensure that associates have the necessary framework and skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively.

8. Ensure that all associates comply with the grooming and uniform standards.

9. Be responsible in setting and achieving revenue and expense budget and forecasts. Continuously work with his/her to come up with revenue generating and cost reducing ideas to ensure that hotel targets are achieved.

10. Ensure that members of the Marriott Bonvoy Program are recognized by laundry labels.

11. Ensure the quality of the laundry and dry cleaning products are maintained and ensure consistency in its delivery and standards.

12. Implement emergency procedures and training to ensure appropriate protection for staff and company assets.

13. Be knowledgeable of Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure Associates are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.

14. Uphold the company’s Cares culture by demonstrating the Star Service Standards at all times to guests and fellow associates.

15. Align management style, working practices and conduct with Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers Vision, Corporate Values and policies. To comply with Sheraton’s Code of Conduct at all times.

16. Organize movement of dirty and clean laundry, including linen inventory once a month done with Linen and uniform supervisor.

17. Ensure cleanliness, safety and maintenance of the entire laundry, dry cleaning section and all equipment.

18. Ensure that torn or damaged uniforms and linen are sent to the Uniform Room for repair or to keep them out of operation and keep a record of the inventory

19. Control of all Laundry and Dry Cleaning chemicals and maintain regular supply of stocks. Control all chemicals and supply to minimize wastage.

20. Coordinate with Housekeeping Department regarding linen inventory.

21. Be responsible in the effect recruitment, training and development, certification, performance evaluation, turnover reduction and optimization of productivity through efficient work practices. Counsel and discipline staff as necessary.

22. Complete and update annually Standards & Procedures and Job Specifications for the Laundry Department. To ensure that all laundry associates including refresher training at least once a year including safety at workplace including laundry problem experience lessons.

23. To monitor and train laundry supervisor the washing and dry-cleaning, spotting process to avoid damage to linen and garments and control the loading of machines with maximize of machine’s capacity.

24. Undertake additional duties as requested by the Executive Housekeeper and Hotel Management.

Yêu cầu công việc

At least 3 years experience in related field at a 5 star hotel

Strong knowledge and skill of Laundry and Dry Cleaning

Good leadership and management skills

Good English communication skill
