Public Areas Attendant

2. Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen pantries as assigned.

3. Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned paperwork.

4. Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned and in order to adhere to health standards.

5. Collect daily allocations of rooms and keys. Ensure worksheet is kept up to date throughout shift, and keys are signed out & kept securely.

6. Replace public area amenities.

7. Replace Bulbs that are fused through maintenance.

8. Collect rubbish from public areas and dispose correctly.

9. Gather and remove soiled linen and other materials from your area allocation, including furniture and fittings as required.

10. Clean and maintain pathways, service areas and pantries.

11. Clean high areas in guest rooms, including the removal of cobwebs.

12. Respond to all guest requests.

13. Report maintenance issues to Public Area Supervisors / Assistant Housekeeper

14. Report any odd occurrences, painting requirements, pest infestations, etc. to Public Area Supervisor / Housekeeping Clerk.

15. Maintain service ends and pantry rooms.

16. Dust room edgings and skirting boards on an on-going basis.

17. Maintain knowledge of the hotel and local area.

18. Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.

19. Align working practices and conduct with Life Resorts Vision; consistently strive to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external guests.

20. Perform other unexpected duties as requested e.g. cleaning spills; follow up on special guest requests.

21. Assist other Housekeeping employees in maintaining a clean and organized work and public areas.

22. Uphold the Life Resorts culture by demonstrating the Life Resorts Standards at all times to guests and fellow associates.

23. Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related Life Resort Da Nang Policies.

24. Undertake other duties as requested by Department Head / Shift Leader and Hotel Management.
