Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The principal function of the role is to extend the profile, reputation and awareness of the Academies and Hotels locally, nationally and internationally through focused initiatives to deliver the School’s students recruitment objectives. The Marketing Coordinator will play a central role in achieving school roll goals and will work closely and in collaboration with the General Director, Dean, Operations Manager and the Admission Manager and to monitor the success of marketing initiatives through the analysis of student recruitment data and statistics, with regular reporting to the General Director and Dean.

Marketing and communications

Marketing of VET by EHL program & certificates to prospective students and parents

Conducting admission or Information tours of local schools & hotels to raise awareness of VET by EHL program.

Scanning the market for competition and identifying developing trends that will affect the VET by EHL business.

Assist in the preparation of the annual Marketing plan

Support the General Director and the Dean in implementing the Academy's marketing and communications strategy (including digital), ensuring that the Academy’s ethos and vision is represented consistently and effectively through high quality internal and external

communications.

Manage the Academy’s and Hotel presentation in the media and other communication channels, building positive brand awareness, and deliver advertising and communications activities which support student’s recruitment.

Develop strong and effective relationships with key media and online platforms locally nationally and internationally to support the generation of editorial opportunities.

Publications

Create, Establish, Manage and oversee the production of the Academy of publications, including (but not limited to) prospectuses, weekly or monthly Academy e-bulletin and create a Quarterly Academy Magazine.

Online Activity

Manage (and analyse the success of) the Academy online systems, including the Academy’s website, Parent Portal and social media channels, to promote the School, ensuring content is up to date.

Event Management

Manage the delivery of a range of marketing events throughout the school year, in conjunction with Admissions colleagues, and ensure the timely production

of marketing materials to support these events as appropriate.

Person Specification Essential:

Independent School experience is not a requirement, but a sound knowledge and understanding of the sector is essential.

Commercially astute, with the skills to generate opportunities and achieve conversion to meet recruitment objectives.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of creating and delivering high quality marketing materials and communications across a variety of media channels.

Experience of using social media platforms in a creative manner and analyzing them effectively.

Proactive, with the proven ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for actions.

Strong team player, with the ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues.

Minimum—Bachelor’s degree.

Language

Competent Communication skills in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
