REPORTING LINES

Direct report—General Director

Direct subordinates—none

RESPONSIBILITIES—GENERAL

Development and coordination of varied administrative tasks to provide career & internship services to the VET by EHL students.

Implementation and coordination of the internship between the VET by EHL centre, student and the employer

Facilitate student learning by assisting students to secure appropriate internships

Following of internship policies and procedures and deciding on any action to be taken in case of misconduct from student or employer.

Initiate and build partnerships with employers to develop student opportunities for internships or jobs.

Identify, develop and monitor local sites to scout for potential internships and job openings

Visit employers in the city/region/country to create awareness of the internship opportunities for VET by EHL students and understanding the requirements of the employers.

Counsel and advise students regarding employment opportunities through various employers

Coordinate and assist with various events and activities throughout year (career fairs, etc.)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

A positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Working in the FE sector/an FE college

4-5 years of experience in Recruitment office or HR function in a Hospitality company

Experience in Marketing

Minimum—Bachelor’s degree.

Competent in written and spoken English
