• Crates a positive and highly motivated working environment that promotes and develops team work.
• Utilizes and develops the communication tools and channels for dissemination of information and workflow in the department.
• Controls all equipment and supplies received issue and returned.
• Maintains par stock of all cleaning items at all times.
• Supervises the standard of Contractors when applicable.
• Coordinates with the Contractor for the replenishment of live plants ensuring inventories are kept.
• Takes inventories of equipment, cleaning supplies and plants.
• Schedules for the carpet/ floor maintenance.
• Performs quality check in Public Area, Heart of House and other facilities daily.
• Ensures that all preventive maintenance and general cleaning programmes /schedules are in place and executed accordingly.
• Rotates duties with Floor Manager in order to be fully conversed with Housekeeping department.
• Ensure all areas of Front of the house, Food & Beverage outlets, Lobby, offices and rest rooms are cleaned and maintained.
• Ensure all areas of Back of the house, back staircases, lockers and changing rooms and Dormitory are cleaned and maintained.
• Attends to complaints regarding the service cleanliness and equipment, takes necessary corrective action.
• Schedule general cleaning for the whole hotel's public areas.
• Ensure follow up all activities in the hotel, complaints and problems when necessary and make record in log books.
• Conducts daily briefing to update policies and regulations as well as changes within the Hotel and company.
• Ensure all function areas well prepared before function.
• Control carpet and upholstery shampoo and window cleaning program in rooms and public area on an annual basis.
• Conduct inspection of all hotel public areas to ensure no stains are on floors and walls
• Make weekly requisition of all supplies from general store.
• Attend departmental meeting.
• Carried out other duties/ assignment by Asst. Executive Housekeeper/ Housekeeping Manager

Yêu cầu công việc
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Housekeeping Utility/Custodial onboard a Cruise ship or 4/5*
hotel/resort.
Passionate about people and able to handle guest complaints
Able to communicate in English
