Mô tả công việc

I. JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the strategic implementation and management of human resources’ core functions and processes according to the objectives and performance and quality standards established by Wink Hotels.

II. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Management

1. Spearheads the implementation of core processes including recruitment and selection, formalities on associate entry, movement and exit, work activities and schedules, performance and appraisal, compensation and benefits, issuances and facilities, and associate relations, communication and promotion.

2. Reviews and monitors the implementation and update of the employee handbook, human resources policies and procedures, job descriptions, and performance appraisal.

3. Ensures compliance management of mandated contributions and benefits, mandated reports, permits and licenses.

4. Ensures that the Human Resources Information System is maintained and updated; directs the preparation, submission and monitoring of employee reports and related documentation; while ensuring required archive and remote archive system is maintained.

5. Coordinates with the Training Manager in the implementation of policies and procedures for learning and growth, training and development, industrial partnership thru student training program, associate engagement, experience and promotion to ensure coherence.

6. Maintains the required archive and remote archive system for this position.

People Management, Associate Support and Supervision

1. Understanding, continuing update and implementation of the relevant policies, procedures and service delivery standards of the above specified department/division, this position and its direct subordinates, if there are any.

2. Understanding, continuing update and implementation of the human resources policies, procedures and code of conduct; while promoting management, team and cross department support, leadership, professionalism and good relations.

3. Maintains and promotes communication efficiency for general and work specific information, to include the conduct of regular meetings and/or discussions on work activities, service delivery, continuing work system improvement, and the like.

4. Establishes and maintains department organization, manning, and productivity; hires the best individual based on market conditions; implements and manages training programs for the different sections; identifies career goals and guides employees in their career growth and development; and conducts performance review on a regular basis.

Other Responsibilities

Performs other related duties and functions which may be assigned by the Area Operations Manager and Director of Wink Experience.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education – Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business management, industrial psychology, or equivalent; post graduate studies will be considered.

Work Experience –

• Proven leadership capabilities with at least ten (10) years working experience in a senior hotel / hospitality management role.

• Proven performance record with at least four (4) years hotel / hospitality operations experience as a Human Resources Manager or equivalent, in leading four-star to five-star hotels; pre-opening experience is an advantage.

• Strong and natural leadership in people engagement and relations, development and retention; organizational culture and diversity, team spirit and esprit de corps; excellent motivator and communicator.

• Highly fitted in a fast and dynamic business environment.

• “Can do, will do” attitude and a “hands-on” person.

• Willing to be assigned in Southern Philippines.

Competencies –

• Resource Management. Identification, organization, planning and allocation of budget, materials, facilities and time.

• Interpersonal. Team and knowledge management, system diversities, organizational and team interrelationships.

• Information & Technology. Computer literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, human resources information system, performance management, payroll system.

• Basic & Analytical Skills. Numeracy, written and verbal communication, decision-making, problem solving, creative thinking.

• Personal Qualities. Responsibility and reliability, self-esteem, self-management, integrity and honesty, sociability and people relations
