Mô tả công việc

General

• To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

• To report for duty punctually wearing smart attire according to hotel's dress codes and name badge at all times.

• To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.

• To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the department colleagues and all other departments.

• To attend and contribute to all staff meetings Departmental and Hotel trainings scheduled and other related activities.

• To fully support the Departmental Training Function in the Department assigned.

• To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the General Manager.

• To respond to any changes in the Purchasing function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.

• To project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.

• To have a complete understanding of the Income Audit Section in the Operations Manual and Policies & Procedures.

• To handle guest and employee inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.

• To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.

Operational

• To ensure that the Purchasing Department is managed efficiently, maximizing utilization of Technology

• To ensure that all Purchasing Administration Practices are complete and in-keeping with legal practices, Policies & Procedures and the philosophy of Fusion.

• To ensure that proper operating standards are adhered to in the areas of purchasing, receiving, processing (commissary kitchen), storing and issuing.

• To implement a flexible employee base, with the right mix of Full Time and Part Time employees

• To support staff needs in other Divisions based on the hotel priorities and anticipated business levels.

• To be demanding and critical when it comes to departmental standards.

• To obtain and coordinate all product and purchase specifications from the various heads of department.

• To prepare purchase specifications for Food & Beverage items in conjunction with the commissary kitchen employees and respective outlet heads of department.

• To establish inventory items and par stock levels for all goods used in the hotel.

• To establish butchering / pastry conversion formula with the respective section chef in the commissary.

• To coordinate collation and computer entry of all commissary kitchen recipes.

• To ensure that every department in the hotel receives goods and services as required and up to the standards they require.

• To conduct interviews with suppliers’ representatives and obtain information, specifications, quotations, etc., on any item required, and handle correspondence and negotiations for procurement.

• To place the order once the purchase order is approved by the management.

• To select reliable and regular purveyors for daily Food & Beverage purchases and secure from their commodity quotations on a 10-days basis, from which decision on daily purchases are made on the lowest price with comparable quality.

• To attend Executive Committee meetings as required.

Yêu cầu công việc

• 2 Years’ experience of Ast. Purchasing Manager/ Purchasing suppervisor

• Knowledge of merchandise being purchased.

• Understanding of purchasing, control procedures.

• Computer skills.

• Communication Skills 

• Training Skills

• Candidates with Hotel experience and familiar with MC systems are preferred.
