MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment & Selection
a. Updates the recruitment status report on a weekly basis from the Personnel Requisition Form of HODs including permanent and casual staff
b. Handles manning requests from department
c. Advertising - get the job descriptions and personnel specifications, prepare job advertisements and suggest how and where jobs will be advertised and prepare other recruitment material such as brochures, posters, notices
d. Maintains the JD database
e. Liaises with individuals outside the hotel including, but not limited to, government officers, colleges and universities, hotel schools, recruitment agencies, competitors and other members of the local community
f. Corrects and timely places internal and external advertisements
g. Attracts and help to select the right and qualified candidates for position vacancies
h. Provides professional support and advice on recruitment to line and departmental managers, and advice managers on best practice recruitment and selection
i. Develops and manages the database, candidate pool for each position (internally and externally). Ensures the candidate database is up-to-date
j. Implements recruitment/selection strategy and mobility process, screen application forms, shortlist applicants, conduct pre-screening interviews, language tests and personality questionnaires as required
k. Is responsible for candidate reference check
l. Is responsible of the employee recruitment from receiving Personnel Requisition phase until hiring confirmation
m. Handles the hiring confirmation follows up until the Offer Letter is done
n. Builds scholarship with vocational schools, colleges, and universities to create a talent pool
o. Selects potential trainees from schools to be interns at the hotel
p. Conduct exit interviews for line staff and provide feedback on reasons for turnover
Administration:
1. Prepares Offer Letter for new employees and follows up with HRC until the OL is signed off by the candidate
2. Maintains the Melia Vinpearl Phu Quoc Job Description database
3. Takes responsible for Recruitment HR reports
4. Ensures Staff and Manager awareness of HR Policies and procedures
5. Controls SAP number by requesting new SAP for new employees and deleting ones of resigned employees
6. Controls overtime request and claims are supported by proper approval and authorization
7. Controls and monthly updates the annual leave and compensation leave balance to relevant HODs
8. Manage all the in/out document of the department
9. Maintain confidentiality at all times on all matters
Employee relations:
1. Updates the staff notice board information
2. Assists managers in developing work practices that are in line with OH &S policies
3. Initiates programs which foster good work relations such as social club and consultative committees
4. Arranges the office in tidy and proper order to make HR office become an “attractive place” for associates
5. Controls the staff locker, nametag, shoes, uniform
6. Coaches, counsels and disciplines staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance
7. Gives a clear guidance of discipline policy to managers and ensures it is strictly followed
8. Prepares discipline reports and sends to HRS and HRM on the 22nd of every month for salary preparation
9. Regularly communicates with staff and maintains good relations
10. Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety.
11. Understand the responsibilities of other units and departments and co-operate with them
12. Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Training & Development:
1. Assistant Training Manager in Training Record and other preparation for Training Program
2. Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time

Yêu cầu công việc
University Degree in Administration, Human Resources Management.
Good level of English
Labor Law
At least 1 year in a similar position in large hotels or international companies
