Storekeeper

MAIN DUTIES:

Administration

• To discharge the duties in an effective and efficient manner.

• To ensure the safety of all stored items by keeping the Store locked when unattended and out of office hours.

• To follow and maintain the SOP of HACCP for Sofitel standard.

• To be ready and responsible when assigned any other duties as designated by supervisor.

Financial and Revenue Responsibilities

• To make proper documentation for the items entering into stores.

• To check quality of delivered items based on Hotels’ standard.

• To issue and re-order stock and to ensure that no goods leave the storeroom without a proper authorized store requisition.

• To keep store clean, orderly and above all properly locked and supervised.

• To maintain the maximum and minimum pars on all items.

• To prepare purchase request based on the requirement and the re-order level.

• Follow up of all pending purchase requisitions with the purchaser to ensure the timely replenishment of depleted stocks in accordance with the par levels defined by Management.

• To prevent loss, spoilage and breakage by careful monitoring of the expiry date of perishable items, monitoring the slow moving items and keeping the store clean and tidy at all times.

Training and Human Resources Management

• To co-ordinate with other departments regarding the receiving, issuing and inventory taking of stocks.

• To join the training program for staff in the area of store management.

• To maintain a good relationship with all departments.

Miscellaneous

• All ambassadors are required to comply with every reasonable request from their hierarchical supervisor(s) within an amount of time that it takes to comply under normal circumstances.

• All ambassadors may be assigned to other duties in the hotel as and when required by business levels.
