General Accountant

Complete any other projects, tasks or activities as assigned from time to time

Ensure all invoices are received at least two days prior to month end

Ensure and control that a list of accrual supported by appropriate back up (items received and invoice awaited) to be provided by Receiving department within predefined timelines for purchases made through Material Control System

Maintain a cut-off date for invoice posting

Pass necessary entries for monthly accruals like,

Reversal from prior month (Automated)

Credit Card Commission

Travel Agency Commission

Marriott Rewards

Other period Marriott charges

Bad Debt

Insurance premiums

Check open IOUs/ advance given from cash during the month and tally cash balance with physical cash at month end

Pass necessary entries to take care of prior period corrections

Check prepaid account

Post related entries to bank reconciliation after approved by DOF/AFC

Calculate hospitality cost

Upload journal for food and beverage transfers and beverage inventory (food where applicable)

Update miscellaneous inventories if applicable

Account for sale or write-off of obsolete inventory items

Provide allocation for the following expenses: cafeteria, laundry, reservations, employee relations, training department, others

Work 5 days per week - 2 days off per week

To be entitled to the prescribed insurance, including health insurance, social insurance, and unemployment insurance

Get 24/24 accident insurance during the term of the hotel contract

Join an annual picnic
