Primary Responsibilities

Transportation Responsibilities

• The Driver is responsible and accountable for all operations in relation to the hotel vehicles whilst on duty. To ensure that vehicles are properly maintained.

• Ensure that all Car Booking forms are monitored closely and to be kept in a proper file.

• Check all the stationary and equipment at workstation. Ensure it is ready and in good order or condition.

• Read the logbook.

• Ensure the car is clean and in good condition, e.g. AC, Brake etc.

• Report immediately if any parts or car equipment that needs to be fix or change.

• Transport our guest to and from the airport e.g. Airport/train station shuttle service.

• Never drives exceeding the speed limit, posse’s excellent driving skills and drive safely and carefully.

• Provide guest with all information about our hotel facilities and attractions.

• Light conversation is encouraged, as long as it is not disturbing your concentration while you are driving. Always build up a good relationship with the guest.

• Loading and unloading guest's luggage and other materials.

• Ensure the guest personal belongings are not left in the car after dropping guest off especially if the guest is dropped off at the airport.

• Take good care of all the vehicles.

• Handle all guest queries in efficient manner and to establish an amicable relationship with all guests of the Hotel.

Other Responsibilities

• Ready at workstation 10 minutes before designated work time.

• Wear proper uniform and nametag, looking well-groomed and tidy.

• Do not smoke and use stimulants during work time

Certificate: D class driver's license

Knowledge and Experience

• Secondary school or similar educational qualification

• Valid driver’s license with the excellent driving record, no black point on license

• 1-2 years prior driving experience required in a similar role

• Ability to communicate in English will be an advantage
