BAR MANAGER (HOTEL)

Job Description

As a pre-opening bar outlet, you will have the exciting role driving business from the early stages working closely with the General Manager. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Set-up of the outlet in accordance with the pre-determined plan of the outlet.

• Work closely with related department to create Standard Operating Procedure and Checklist to ensure bar outlet complies with all licensing regulations, service standards set by management, and accounting requirement set by finance department.

• Ensure adherence to stock control procedures, monitor and order supplies.

• Demonstrate a perfect knowledge of all beverages and identify suitable product for outlet customer’s demographic to propose and create outlet’s menu.

• Identify training needs and propose hiring & training plans and monitor service quality in order to maintain standard of service.

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards while monitoring cleanliness and hygiene of bar area.

• Create promotions in order to attract Guests and meet revenue target

• Resolve customer complaints promptly and ensure a smooth dining experience for all customers

Job Requirement

• Experience in the pre-opening of bar or beverage service operation

• Complete knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

• Committed to delivering high levels of customer service

• Ability to work under pressure

• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations

• Well spoken and written English
