Mô tả công việc

1. Responsible to negotiate with the suppliers best possible prices for goods to help keep the hotels expenditure to a minimum.
2. To obtain 3 quotations at all times for cash purchases.
3. To follow up with all department orders with suppliers and update accordingly.
4. Fully in charge of the day to day purchases for all departments in the hotel.
5. Runs errands for the Purchasing Manager.
6. Updates all Purchase Order files and aids the Purchasing Secretary in updating filing as well
7. Keeps the hotel vehicles clean and polished properly at all times.
8. Clears imported goods from the airport as and when required.
9. Responsible in following with the Directorate of Customs keeping customs receipts, renewed and updated.
10. To purchase urgent items required from other countries when not available locally.
11. Responsible in keeping the receiving area clean and tidy.
12. Responsible in maintaining a good relationship with all suppliers, keeping a polite and 
professional attitude at all times.
13. Complies with the hotels Fire, Health & Safety policies
14. Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any hotel activity 
related to Fire Life safety.
15. Performs any additional duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

Yêu cầu công việc


•  Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects
highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Good writing skills
• Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Accounting or Business Administration or related field.
• 1 year experience in an accounting clerical, purchasing, front office, or reservations position
or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
