SCOPE

Supervises and coordinates activities of the outlets and room service and responsible for the proper and profitable functioning of the outlets. Ensures that all staff are providing courteous and efficient service to the guests To assist the Restaurant Manager in performing his/her duties and replaces him/her in absence. To supervise the restaurant employees and assist them whenever necessary .

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

To be punctual, efficient and above all, courteous. Assumes at all times, a pleasing and helpful attitude towards each guest and never speak in a loud voice to other employees, strive to give excellent and friendly service.

To ensure that the Department’s Operational Budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are strictly controlled.

To be completely familiar with all instructions contained in the Food and Beverage Service Manual and particularly with those pertaining to the specifics of food and beverage service.

Follow these instructions and detailed given by the Restaurant Manager.

To supervise the employees within the department, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the department’s operational manual.

To replace the Restaurant Manager in his / her absence

To make sure that the service is ready and functioning smoothly and efficiently throughout the whole meal period - trays are properly set-up, buffet counters are clean tidy and fully equipped, etc

To responsible for the appearance, orderliness and cleanliness of The outlets.

To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A diploma or degree qualification.

Fluency in oral and written English

Experience: Previous hotel-related experience.

Other: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Good in planning, organizing and co-ordination
