Mô tả công việc

Job Description/Summary:

  •  Control of the sales, expenses and assets of the hotel in accordance with the TUI & TMG Standards as well as local requirements. Organization and management of the department at the highest level for Controlling and Accounting.
  • ·         Responsible for the entire administrative area including warehouses and all public areas of the hotel (for example, front office cashiers, POS, PMS billing related and sales outlets).
  • ·         He/she is reporting to the General Manager of the hotel and professional to the head of Controlling of the TUI BLUE head office in Germany.
  • ·         He/she is supervising all employees in controlling and accounting including purchasing, receiving, stores and IT, as well as supporting closely the HR administration with regard to payroll related functions.

MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration and Controlling:

·         Ensuring the correct and complete monthly accounting and reporting according to Uniform System of Accounts while observing the local tax and trading rules

·         Specification, implementation and monitoring of all administrative standards and procedures with regard to inventories, storage, purchasing, determination of requirements etc. in the In line with TUI & TMG standards and local tax and trade regulations

·         Defining the credit strategy of the hotel in accordance with the TUI & TMG headquarters. Monitoring of all liabilities and claims of the hotel. Ensuring the Compensate City Ledger with the aim of compliance with the terms of payment in the TO contracts and payments to optimize before Check Out of groups / guests. Negotiation of the best possible terms of payment with suppliers

·         In accordance with the obligations under the management contracts control of taking into account daily, monthly and annual liquidity planning of the hotel both operating income and expenditure and charges of Society such as the loan payments and the investments (F.F. & E and operational Domestic equipment)

·         Control of the daily income booked in opera and ensuring that all expenses the guests were booked and the correct rates were calculated

·         Control and ensuring the approval of the General Manager with regard to all discounts, cancellations and rooms / services provided free of charge were

·         With the General Manager responsible for the existence of all contracts, official documents, licenses, permits and standards and their storage at one safe place (protected from fire, damage, water etc.)

·         Regular coordination with the hotel manager and the department heads in terms of control of expenses and potentials of sales increase

·         Examination, supervision and control of all purchases, expenses, salary costs and other expenses of the hotel regarding the agreement with the budget, the forecast as well as the liquidity planning

·         Monitors and ensures that the monthly pay slips are under consideration of all tax, labor and contractually agreed defaults are made, duties paid accordingly and where required reserves/ provisions are formed

·         Ensuring the timely preparation and submission of all necessary tax returns and forecasts to the tax authorities and the property companies in accordance with the specifications and contractual obligations

·         Regular training, advice and training of accounting and accounting staff controlling and employees of other departments with regard to accounting subjects

·         Weekly unannounced spot checks on selected points of sale in the hotel and at guest ledger

·         Instruction and control of monthly inventories / inventories and implementation unannounced spot checks in stores, including compliance checks output method

Reporting & Budgeting 

·         Prepare and control the daily intake reports before passing them on to the General Manager and relevant department heads

·         Preparation of monthly reports including detailed comments and reports regarding deviations from the approval to the General Manager and assurance the timely delivery, no later than the 8th of each month, to the TUI & TMG head office

·         Preparation and timely submission of quarterly forecasts

·         Prepares the budget with the General Manager and department heads at compliance with the timeframe set by the TUI BLUE headquarter and the standards including the associated files

·         Regular cost analysis and reporting for a more profitable management

Communication & Leadership:

·         Active participation in the morning meetings, heads of department meetings reporting on current revenue and expenses and if necessary Initiation of corrective measures in coordination with the hotel manager and the department heads

·         Regular meetings with staff to vote in the field accounting and controlling

·         Invitation to and lead of monthly discussions on the topic of open claims in which all overdue claims are discussed and the others procedure is determined

·         Use their employees on the basis of their abilities, recognize potential and promotes this.

·         Identify weaknesses and develop together with the affected employee measures to eliminate or reduce this.

·         Conducts employee appraisals regularly, documents them and ensures one follow-up of the measures discussed serve employee.

·         Is actively involved in the recruitment and selection process for his/ her area, ensures optimal training of new employees.

·         Performs and ensures effective communication within his/ her department and with other departments, gives clear directions and goals to his/ her staff.

·         Promotes teamwork within his / her department and with other departments in the field hotel.

·         Lives the philosophy of TUI BLUE and takes his/ her example role as manager.

Final Provisions:

·         This job description includes only a small part of the remit and can be expanded as needed

·         Other tasks are carried out according to the instructions of the superior

- University graduated, major in Finance/Accounting - At least 3-5 years experience in finance department in a supervisory role. - High sense of responsibility and be able to work under high pressure - Good management skills, responsible sense - Good communication in English. - Computer literacy and knowledge of software application is required. - Good communication skills, positive work attitude with strong problem- solving abilities.
