• To work as a team with colleagues in all departments, to ensure timely service and a smooth running operation. • To understand and adhere to all hotel policies and Standard Operating Procedures with regard to guest service, how to run the operation, and personal discipline and grooming. • To have a complete knowledge of the hotel facilities and services on offer to our guests. • Ensure that all activities are performed safely using proper safety techniques and have CPR and first aid knowledge. Must be able to swim. • To take responsibility for the safety of all hotel guests while using pool area, with particular attention to the safety of children. • To maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of the pool area, and to ensure pool furniture is arranged in a neat and tidy manner • To ensure adequate pool towels are on hand for guest issue, and to collect and clear used towels to the Laundry • To take responsibility for ensuring that all guests who require food and drinks are served as quickly as possible. Responsible for upselling of food & beverages around the poolside area. • Quick and discreet clearance of soiled dishes and glasses from the poolside area • Attend training sessions as required. • Ensure any issues relating to guest satisfaction are met and that all follow up is completed on a timely basis, Pre-empt and anticipate guest needs.
