Mô tả công việc

1. Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.

2. Align working practices and conduct with Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers’ Vision; consistently strive to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external guests.

3. Uphold the Company’s Cares culture by demonstrating the Star Service Standards at all times to guests and fellow associates.

4. Understand and adhere to relevant workplace health and safety standards. Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related Hotel and Marriott Policies.

5. Become totally familiar with the “Reservations” Standards & Procedures and follow them accordingly.

6. Possess full and accurate information about all F&B outlets, promotions and special events

7. Provide customers with any required information related to all F&B outlets, promotions and special events

8. Establish and maintain an accurate filing system.

9. Handle all F&B inquiries coming through phone and e-mails

10. Handle bookings for all F&B outlets before the outlets are open

11. Handle group inquiries and bookings for F&B outlets, prepare offers and contracts for groups

12. Preparation and compilation of various reports as required by the Department Manager.

13. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of and actively sell all F&B products, services and special events within the hotel. Make appropriate reservations (limousine hires, restaurant bookings, etc).

14. Advice and recommend food & beverage choices to customers while making offers.

15. Actively contribute to Bonvoy program and upselling programs.

16. Responsible for taking clear and accurate information about every booker and update it correspondingly in database. Send confirmations for F&B reservations booked.

17. Proceed with table allocation if needed

18. Confirm and reconfirm bookings for all F&B outlets before outlets are open

19. Follow up advance deposits and refunds of advance deposits, especially during peak season.

20. Handle pre-payment for F&B reservations and special events bookings if needed

21. Handle ticket sales for special events arranged by the hotel

22. Liaise with Corporate bookers, Tour Operators and Travel Agents with special requests and general information.

23. Endeavor to process all correspondence on a daily basis.

24. Monitor and maintain the waitlist file.

25. Disseminate product and rate information to prospective clients.

26. Respond to telephone and mail inquiries in relation to FIT business.

27. Liaise closely with the Sales and Marketing Department to ensure up-to-date information with regard to packages, menus and special promotions or events.

28. Undertake additional duties as requested by the Department Manager and Hotel Management.

Guest Relations

1. Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.

2. Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.

3. Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible.

4. Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process (e.g., LEARN, PLEASED, Guest Response, LEAP) to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.

5. Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible.

6. Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events).

Communication

1. Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.

2. Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone within 3 rings, answering with a smile in one's voice, using the callers' name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking and relaying messages, and allowing the caller to end the call.

1. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.

2. Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or guests with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.

3. Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.

1. Use computer systems and software packages to input, access, modify, store, or output information

2. Enter and retrieve data from computer systems using a keyboard, mouse or trackball.

1. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.

2. Follow company and department policies and procedures.

3. Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.

4. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

PROFIT CONTRIBUTION:

1. Actively upsell hotel facilities to maximize revenue.

2. Negotiate the most profitable rate to secure the business for the hotel.

3. Ensure deposits and settlements are received when due.
