Job Description:
- Responsible for supervising all activities of personnel engaged in preparing and serving of beverages in all beverage outlets.
- Enforces safety regulations and sanitation standards. Secures all storage areas for beverages
- Controls the requisition of beverages and all supplies to maintain par stock for smooth operation.
- Briefs personnel on preparations, service and content of drink list.
- Possesses working knowledge of beverages and cocktails.
- Monitors standard recipes for all beverages.
- Participates in the monthly beverage physical inventory and monitors the activities.
- Ensure all necessary arrangements and preparations are made for normal and special events; coordinates activities with Banquet, Engineering and other departments.
- Follow up with each employee to ensure assigned duties are carried out.
- Ensure grooming and general appearance of staff conforms to Hotel standards
- Ensure adequate supplies of materials and requisitions for general supplies.
- Conducts/Participates in daily briefings and monthly communication meetings to discuss various aspects of beverage service and preparation.
- Attends to guest complaints, requests or inquiries regarding beverage and services
- Maintains proper records of sales, guest complaints, solutions and all concerns pertaining to personnel or equipment in appropriate logbooks, discusses the same with Asst. Beverage Manager.
- Trains personnel according to established procedures; Conducts orientation of all new employees and ongoing training of all staff.
- Establishes effective employee relations and maintains the highest level of professionalism, ethic and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, heads of department and employees.
- As a supervisor will be required to lead by example and may be required to perform other duties when needed.
- May be assigned to perform duties of Restaurant, Room Service or Banquet when needed
Requirements:
- 1 year experience in same position
- Good communication in Vietnamese and English
- Degree in hospitality is preferred
- Dynamic, honest
