- IT project managers plan, organise, and integrate cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact. - As businesses are increasingly reliant on technology, your role as IT manager is crucial to business continuity and success. - You will be advising organisations on IT solutions that will best help them grow and perform more efficiently. You’ll work with companies from beginning to end, outlining the most effective resources and oversee projects through design, development to completion. - Whatever project you’re working on, your daily tasks may include: oversee installation; ensure back up systems operate effectively; contribute to organisational policy regarding quality standards and strategic planning. - Speaking to your management team/clients to find out what they want and to advise them objectively on where IT might make a difference to the business - Planning the stages of the project and how each affects the business - Coordinating the project team - Agreeing costs, timescales and standards to be met and monitoring these throughout the project - Adjusting the plans where needed - Making sure there is a smooth change over from the old system to the new one - Keeping management and clients updated on progress - Evaluation of each project stage and once completed - Assist with upgrading information security. - Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. - Other tasks as assigned by direct manager.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Sex: Male - 4 years + Microsoft server administration and support in a similar size environment - IT related degree or equivalent - Self-motivated with desire to foster a sense of urgency when addressing customer concerns, coupled with a strong command of business and technical abilities - Excellent communication and customer service skills and professional appearance - Must have a strong acumen for not simply managing but leading, coaching, mentoring, developing staff, managing performance and succession planning - Strong history of using data to drive decisions and solutions - Team player with strong collaboration skills - Any experiences of working in a professional services firm would be advantageous, as would knowledge of ITIL.
