Being a Chief Engineer / Senior Chief Engineer in the commercial and hospitality industry, I'd like to move on career advancement within Engineering / Operations as Director of Engineering / Group or Cluster HOD in leading engineering strategy across a hotel chain where I develop expertise in large-scale capital projects, budgeting, and corporate sustainability initiatives. • Oversee the facility management plan, manage Engineering Department in good operation and maintenance scope for:
- Tower 1: Grade A Commerical Building features 03 floors for Shopping Mall, 11 floors for Office Lease, 10 floors for Hotel and 3 basements
- Tower 2: Grade A Commerical Building features 06 floors for Shopping Mall, 18 floors for Office Lease, 14 floors for Sedona Suites and 6 basements
- Manage engineering team with 30 members
• Coordinate with tenants (includes 196 keys of Sedona Serviced Suites, 146 keys of Fusion Original Saigon Centre) to provide critical feedback when required and solving problems
• Lead on initiative projects, renovation, retrofitting MEP systems through the building as such:
- Lead successful on upgrading transformer system (2000 kVA x 2 nos) for SC Tower 1, environment license obtaining for entire SC Tower 1 & 2, upgrading 39 AHUs with High Efficiency Fan Motor to achieve over 30% energy saving for HVAC system in SC Tower 2
- Lead and manage ongoing fire system, generator system, CCTV system, Green Mark BCA Gold re-application, etc.
• Coordinate with Project Department to work on renovation and upgrading project when required
• Establish and execute the Preventive Maintenance Program, Energy Saving and Sustainability Program for the building and ensure that all facilities function well and efficiently to maintain and achieving BCA Green Mark Gold
• Develop and maintain the tenancy service framework and foster positive work relationship with the tenants
• Manage all operation-related contract services
• Oversee the fire and life safety management of the building
• Plan annual OPEX and CAPEX budget for master maintenance program, renovation work if required
• Liaise with government agencies and insurance agencies when required; attain and keep all necessary operating licenses
• Lead, train and build up the capability of Operations and Maintenance
• Hire and train new staffs for Engineering Department

• Oversee the property management plan in good operation and maintenance scope for various projects through complex commercial building, residential
• Coordinate with tenants to provide critical feedback when required and solving problems
• Build and maintain a set of operational procedures for the building
• Establish and execute the Preventive Maintenance Program and Energy Saving Program for the building and ensure that all facilities function well and efficiently
• Develop and maintain the tenancy service framework and foster positive work relationship with the tenants
• Manage all operation-related contract services
• Oversee and maintain Fire Life safety management of the building in accordance with authority regulation
• Plan annual OPEX and CAPEX budget for master maintenance program, renovation work if required
• Review/Prepare operations reports, ensure the operations record are well-kept on a regular basis
• Liaise with government agencies and insurance agencies when required; attain and keep all necessary operating licenses
• Act as the Duty Manager when assigned
• Lead, train and build up the capability of Operations and Maintenance

- Manage the engineering department with 12 members for Hotel features 250 room keys, 02 restaurant, 01 Lounge and 01 Lam Son Bar, Facilities: outdoor swimming pool, wellness center, Xuan spa
- On site management and coordinate all property maintenance and management matters.
- Responsible for proper operations and maintenance of M&E systems and equipment.
- Implement energy saving program.
- Liaise with tenants and attend to tenants work requests.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors.
- Ensure Fire, Life and Safety systems are operational.
- Purchase requests involving Technical Services and installations, machinery, parts and audio-visual equipment etc.
- Maximize the effectiveness of engineering employees by develop in each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching or mentoring.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance properly

- Manage the engineering department with 18 members in Tower 1: Grade A Commerical Building features 03 floors for Shopping Mall, 11 floors for Office Lease, 10 floors for Sedona Serviced Apartment and 3 basements
- Lead on initiative projects, renovation, retrofitting MEP systems through the building as such: upgrading chiller system (400RT x 3 nos), lift & escalator system (09 lifts and 04 escalators), Green Mark BCA Gold application, etc.
- Prepare the OPEX and CAPEX budget for master maintenance program, renovation work if required.
- On site management and coordinate all property maintenance and management matters.
- Conduct daily and routine maintenance of M&E systems and equipment.
- Coordinate building renovation work and tenant’s fit out work.
- Responsible for proper operations and maintenance of M&E systems and equipment.
- Implement energy saving program.
- Prepare monthly reports and inventory lists.
- Liaise with tenants and attend to tenants work requests.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors and authorizes.
- Ensure Fire, Life and Safety systems are operational.
- Review and approve all invoices and Purchase requests involving Technical Services and installations, machinery, parts and audio-visual equipment etc.
- Recruit and select engineering employees if required.
- Maximize the effectiveness of engineering employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching or mentoring.
