My name is Hoang Dinh Tung, and I am currently a senior majoring in English Linguistics at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. With a strong passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and experience working in fast-paced environments, I believe I can make a positive contribution to your team.
During my time as a Barista at Starbucks Vietnam, I developed the ability to deliver exceptional customer service while handling a high volume of guests with professionalism and composure. I learned how to build meaningful connections with customers, resolve unexpected situations calmly, and contribute to sales through upselling and cross-selling. This experience strengthened my communication skills and taught me the importance of creating memorable customer experiences.
In addition, my leadership roles in the Student Union have equipped me with strong organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I have coordinated large-scale events, managed cross-functional teams, and ensured projects were completed efficiently under tight deadlines. These experiences have enhanced my adaptability and ability to work effectively under pressure.
One of my greatest strengths is my multilingual communication ability. I am proficient in English (C1), have intermediate proficiency in Russian (B2), and basic knowledge of French (A2). Combined with my customer-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for hospitality, I am confident in communicating with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.
I consider myself to be a friendly, responsible, and detail-oriented person who enjoys helping others. I am always eager to learn and continuously improve myself. Although I have not yet worked directly in a hotel reception role, I see this as an opportunity to grow professionally. I am a fast learner and highly motivated to acquire the operational knowledge and hospitality standards required to become an excellent receptionist.

Throughout my university years at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, I have actively participated in extracurricular activities that have helped me develop both personally and professionally.
One of my most meaningful experiences has been serving as the Head of the Arts & Sports Department of the Faculty of Foreign Languages' Youth Union. In this leadership role, I was responsible for planning and organizing artistic performances, sports activities, and major faculty events. I led the preparation and execution of large-scale programs such as Áng Xanh, Assembly, and Vui Hội Xuân 2026, coordinating team members, managing event schedules, and ensuring every activity was delivered successfully. These experiences strengthened my leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills while teaching me how to work effectively under pressure.
Alongside my leadership responsibilities, I also served as a Content Lead and Stage Director for the HUST Student Union. I conceptualized event themes, scripted performances, coordinated rehearsals, and collaborated with multiple departments to deliver engaging and well-organized university events. Working with diverse teams enhanced my adaptability and reinforced the importance of teamwork and attention to detail.
Beyond my university activities, I gained valuable professional experience as a Barista at Starbucks Vietnam, where I learned to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The role improved my ability to communicate with customers, handle challenging situations calmly, and create positive experiences through personalized service.
In addition, I worked as a YouTube Video Editor at Sky Media, producing over 150 videos while collaborating with creative teams to manage projects and meet strict deadlines. This experience strengthened my creativity, time management, and ability to balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Looking back on my university journey, these academic, leadership, and professional experiences have shaped me into a responsible, adaptable, and service-oriented individual. They have also strengthened my confidence in communicating with people from diverse backgrounds and reinforced my passion for creating meaningful experiences for others.
