Select equipment from P&ID: multistage/chemical pumps, valves (globe, ball, gate, etc.), strainers, gauges, flow meters. Design piping layout & isometrics for steam, oil, condensate, air, water, demineralized water lines. Draft fabrication drawings for pipe racks, pipe supports, tanks, headers, receivers. Prepare piping BOM and check material quality. Coordinate with suppliers to resolve technical issues; conduct site surveys, design customer piping, support sales technically; supervise piping & boiler equipment installation, track progress, and troubleshoot issues.
Lead and managed a 12-member technical team: training, daily supervision, and performance evaluation. Operated and maintained all utility systems (compressed air, boilers, chillers/HVAC, water supply, DI water, wastewater treatment) to ensure 100% production uptime with zero interruptions. Developed and enforced SOPs, operational procedures, preventive maintenance plans, EHS protocols, and emergency response procedures. Proposed and implemented utility system upgrades focused on energy efficiency and long-term cost reduction.
