- Supervising all work in Purchasing- commercial Department in order to support team members whenever they encounter problems. - Running projects: *** Bidding period: + Attending kick-off meetings with sales team to collect information to work on new projects in the bidding. + Making a list of categories mentioned in bidding documents + Starting to search for appropriate suppliers and partners (both overseas and on the domestic market): qualify their abilities in terms of capacities, trustworthiness, prices and their attitudes towards our company before introducing them into our new projects. + Drawing a comparison between suppliers according to such criteria above to analyse data in detail, then determine the final bid prices and write some potential suppliers' names in the list. + Recording all information and emails related to the projects in the bidding. *** After awarding: Starting to carry out such projects. + Holding a meeting among team members to assign them tasks to come to one goal. + Going through the projects one more time to learn whether they needs some changes or not. + Draw up the schedule for each of the categories. + Trying our hands on negotiating with suppliers about prices once again in order to get better offers than that in the bidding, then identify who is finally the best fit for the projects. + Creating purchasing orders (PO) and tracking the progress of goods and ensuring on-time delivery. + Tackling problems arising during the period of projects. + Giving an up-to-date and weekly report to the manager. *** After the projects: + Taking lessons learned by listing out what we have done well and what we have not, then take them into account in the future projects. + Evaluating our current suppliers and partners throughout the time. - Other tasks: + Keeping the lists of partners updated weekly (or even daily) in order to diversify the range of suppliers across the world. In addition to it, this helps to prevent monopolies in business on the market. + Having business trips on a regular basis to visit suppliers' factories. + Arranging many training classes: we invite technicians of our company or professors outside to come to our classes and give us more technical training.
