- Make and develop sales plan. - Seek out new sales and rental opportunities. - Monitor the causes of customer dissatisfaction to improve our sales activities. - Provide Market Information, Market Analysis to Sales & Marketing Director weekly. - Develop, control and measure product innovation, promotional activity, price structures, route to markets and market diversification. - Implement departmental procedures to ensure efficient internal communication and effective external communication. - Ensure compliance standards and service quality for customers. - Work directly with The Account Executive, Partnership Executive and report to CEO afterwards.
- Organize, operate and monitor the operation of the reception department. - Introduce, consult hotel products, and answer customers' queries via phone and email. - Responsible for handling customer complaints. - Responsible for welcoming delegations and VIP guests. - To be in charge of Group assignments, checking in, checking out, and co-operating with Group organizers to meet customer’s demands. - Co-operate with Sales and Accounting Department to handle and update Proforma Invoice related to all expenses of accommodation and other services belong to Groups. - Up-sell hotel services (Transportations, Tours, Recreational services, F&B,…) - Control cash and card transactions at the Front Desk andtake responsibility for handling all card transaction issues between the customer's card issuer and the hotel bank following the agreement policy. - Issue VAT Invoice and handle all problems related to VAT Invoice for customers after checking out. - Execute training programs and tools at Front Desk that addresses room availability, revenue, rate, and selling strategies that can maximize occupancy. - Communicate and report regularly to Front Office Manager concerning the daily operation. - Participate in departmental daily as well as monthly meetings to discuss the results of the department's operations and share information to suggest improvements by focusing on improving service related to customers and employees. - Do work assignments for training plans. If there is a new hire, take on the role of a mentor to explain the tasks of the department to new hires. After their probationary term is up, oversee and evaluate them based on their performance, then submit a report to the Front Office Manager. - Keep close contact with other departments' leaders to foster cross-training, feedback, and effective operations.
