- In absence of Assistant Manger Laundry, conducts daily briefing to employees on room occupancy, event of the day and special attention that may be needed.
- Maintains daily production record book for each processed items.
- Update record book at end working shift/ a day.
- Delivers the brand promise and provides exceptional Guest service at all times to internal Customers as appropriate.
- Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
- Maximises employee productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.
- Assists the Assistant Manger to ensure that department operates with the lowest possible cost structure while also delivering on the brand promise to the guest, proactively managing costs based on key performance indicators.
- Ensures that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
- Work closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
- Strictly adheres to the par stocks for all operating equipments, supplies and inventoried items.
- Assists in controlling the requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
- Reports to Assistant Manager/ Housekeeping Manager on major problems, discrepancies in count, defects or stains in garments prior laundry/dry cleaning process.
- Ensures proper handling and maintenance of work area and equipment.
- Liaises with other related department on daily operation.
- Maximises the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.
- Supports the implementation of the People Brand, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt’s Values and Culture Characteristics.
- Ensures that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to employee rules and regulations.
- Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
- Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations.
- Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.
- Maintains strong, professional relationship with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations.
- Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
- Responds to changes in the department functions as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
- Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Yêu cầu công việc
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in laundry operations or housekeeping preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel laundry operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel/resort environment is an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of laundry procedures including washing, drying, pressing, dry-cleaning, and stain removal.
- Ability to maintain laundry machinery in good working condition and report malfunctions promptly.
- Ability to organize daily operations, assign tasks, and ensure efficient workflow.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest and staff concerns effectively.
- Good communication skills in English (other languages are an advantage).
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
