Public Area Supervisor

Responsible for organizing, supervisor and coordinating all cleaning, gardening and swimming pool activities and ensuring proper maintenance of all cleaning equipments and supplies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Attends daily meetings of housekeeping supervisors conducted by Exec. Housekeeper 2. Reviews Logbook and function list daily

3. Checks staff attendance sheet takes note of absentees and arranges relief

4. Spot checks on staff performance regularly

5. Requests daily/weekly cleaning supplies for public area and gardening

6. Checks/ensures staff are on duty at the assigned locations

7. Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition

8. Reports on the repairs of all outlets, toilets, equipment with work orders

9. Co-ordinates with other supervisors in the next shift on follow-up matters

10. Co-ordinates with the Engineering Department for any emergency repairs and reports to Executive Housekeeper regarding guest area

11. Checks/maintain the cleanliness of all F&B outlets, all offices and other outlets on Mezzanine, Lobby, Lower lobby floor. Guest toilets, Staff lockers, Poolside area, Gardening and Front office areas.

1. Vocational Certificate or on-job training in related fields.

2. Minimum 3-5 years in similar position in international hotels.
