Bell Captain

• ​Greet guests upon arrival in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
• ​Assist guests with their luggage upon check-in and check-out, ensuring all items are safely handled and transported.
• ​Escort guests to their rooms, explain room features and amenities, and address any guest queries.
• ​Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• ​Ensure that guests are comfortable and assist with any special requests, such as booking transportation, providing directions, or arranging for amenities.
• ​Offer a personalized guest experience, ensuring that VIP guests or guests with special needs receive priority service.
• ​Coordinate with driver to update car/bus maintenance status/report.

• ​Supervise and coordinate the activities of the bell staff to ensure efficient operations and high guest service standards.
• ​Assign tasks to bell staff, including luggage handling, room deliveries, and guest escort services.
• ​Train new bell staff on proper guest interaction techniques, luggage handling, and safety protocols.
• ​Monitor bell staff performance, providing feedback, coaching, and addressing any performance issues.
• ​Ensure that all bell staff are dressed in a professional manner and adhere to hotel uniform and grooming standards.
• ​Oversee the safe handling of guests' luggage, ensuring that it is securely delivered to guest rooms and retrieved upon departure.
• ​Coordinate guest transportation, including arranging for taxis, shuttle services, private cars, and airport transfers.
• Maintain a visible and accessible presence in the hotel lobby, offering assistance to guests and responding to their needs promptly.
• ​Oversee the operation of the bell desk, ensuring it is well-maintained, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• ​Maintain knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures and assist guests in emergencies when necessary.
• ​Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Management team.

• Relevant educational background, vocational training, academic degree, or professional
• qualification applicable to the position and commensurate with the position level
• Relevant experience in a similar position and/or within a similar scale of operation, commensurate
• with the position level.
• Good knowledge of relevant SOPs, operational standards, health & safety requirements, and
• workplace regulations.
• Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
• Strong commitment to service excellence and professional standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Relevant professional certifications and English proficiency are advantages, depending on the
• position.
