-Responsible for running the affairs of the room service department in a smooth and efficient manner. • Ensure and maintain the best sanitation from living rooms to public areas. • Check performance meets hygienic standards or not. • Investigate complaints about cleaning services and equipment and provide corrective action. • Coordinate work activities with other departments. • Regularly check stock items, laundry, uniforms, tablecloths and report lost and retrievable items. • Make inventory inventory to ensure adequate supply • Make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation. • Inspect the building to determine need for repair or replacement of furniture and equipment and make recommendations to management. • Record data related to assigned tasks and prepare periodic reports. • Perform other duties as required by management
