Mô tả công việc

The HR Trainee – Recruitment supports the Human Resources Department in day‑to‑day hiring activities to ensure efficient, timely, and compliant staffing across hotel operations, in alignment with the hotel’s culture, vision, and service standards. The role provides hands‑on learning in candidate sourcing, interview coordination, new‑hire processing, HRIS data entry, and HR administration—delivering a smooth, professional experience to candidates and new associates while learning hotel HR policies and procedures.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

1) Recruitment Process Support

  • Post approved job vacancies on internal channels and external job boards in line with brand and policy guidelines. 
  • Conduct initial screening of CVs for hourly and non‑management roles; forward qualified profiles to Recruiters for next steps. 
  • Maintain accurate applicant flow logs and candidate pipelines to support timely staffing.

2) Interview & Selection Coordination

  • Contact candidates to schedule interviews with Department Heads; confirm details and share interview instructions. 
  • Prepare interview rooms, schedules, and documentation; ensure a courteous, service‑oriented candidate experience. 
  • Record interview outcomes and update trackers/files promptly and accurately.

3) Pre‑Employment & Onboarding Assistance

  • Under supervision, support pre‑employment document collection/checklists per hotel procedures and applicable policies. 
  • Prepare new‑hire files and onboarding packs; assist with Day‑1 orientation logistics and sign‑off forms.
  • Create and maintain personnel files; help enter new‑hire information in the HR system/HRIS as instructed.

4) HR Administration & Records

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee/candidate records, files, and information, including interview documents and checklists.
  • Assist with data entry, correspondence, and routine recruitment reports (e.g., weekly pipeline, hiring status). 
  • Answer calls/emails professionally; take messages and route inquiries appropriately.

5) Communication, Service & Culture

  • Communicate with candidates and associates using clear, polite, and professional language; practice active listening and proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the hotel’s service culture and brand standards; protect guest and associate privacy at all times. 
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues and departments; support teamwork to achieve common goals. 

6) Compliance & Policies

  • Follow HR policies, procedures, and local requirements related to recruitment and personnel documentation, as trained. 
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary materials and sensitive information.
  • Adhere to grooming, appearance, safety, and security standards as set by the hotel. 

7) Additional Duties

  • Support basic payroll/attendance verifications for recruitment‑related activities if requested (under supervision). 
  • Undertake other reasonable tasks and HR projects assigned by HR leadership.
