Enhances personal recognition and prompt attention to guests from their arrival through their departure. 2. Updates guest history files on a regular basis. 3. Ensure that all guests receive a warm and courteous welcome upon check-in. 4. Reviews next days arrival for unsuspected VIPs. 5. Attends all the guest needs, queries and requests promptly and channel feedback to the relevant HODs for appropriate actions. All such queries and complaints must be given immediately attention. If necessary, to pacify while investigation is being carried on and also it must be recorded in Logbook. 6. Promotes hotel facilities whenever possible. 7. Check –in and check out guests and perform in room check in for VIP’s 8. Responsibility for airport pick-up and transfer as flight scheduled. 9. Bid farewell for all departure guests. 10. Do house round to meet all in-house guests to ensure that they are treated/served well. 11. Daily checks through regular guest and VIPs list and arrival report, to check rooms of expected arrival guest and ensures that amenities are prepared and ordered. 12. Maintain s files on hotel facilities, airlines schedules, transportation schedules/routes and course, map and other relevant tourist information. 14. Distributes VIP list to Departments concerned after having obtained room number. Checks additional VIP report for delivery of special offered and prepares additional requisition for VIP Walk-in for distribution. 15. Time spent at the counter should be maximized in order to properly attend to guest’s specific requests including but not limited to: Assisting with reconfirm/ change/ book of air tickets Providing assistance with specific queries or problems
