ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE


Reports To:                            Director of Sales & Marketing

Direct Subordinates:                        None

 SCOPE

 Oversee all Marketing Communication activities and events including branding, style guide, internal & external media coverage in all forms, reputation management and hotel image.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics

    • Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
    • Identify main target groups and audiences and determine the best way to communicate with them.
    • Coordinate with hotel designer on all required graphic design jobs, both internal and external. 
    • Control and update company website, social media channels to engage target audiences and increase awareness of Hotel programs and promotions
    • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
    • Develop and maintain the hotel’s corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage.
    • Create content for press releases, media kits, printed collateral etc.
    • Manage special events such as launches, parties, introducing new products, or other activities the hotel supports in a professional and positive manner.
    • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
    • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local and municipal government officials and media representatives.
    • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
  •  ·         Maintain and oversee all internal database and account management systems to ensure optimal utilization of sales and marketing opportunities.
  • ·         Observe and report on social, economic and political trends that might affect the hotel.

·         Other tasks as assigned by DOSM or General Manager.

MISCELLANEOUS


  • To reinforce the hotel culture & spirit through teamwork and flexibility consistent with the Staff Handbook.

 ·         Ensure that personal grooming and hygiene standards are met as specified in the Employee Handbook.

 

  • To at all times maintain the privacy of hotel information.

 

  • To have a full understanding of the hotel’s policies and procedures, Occupational Health & Safety issues, Fire Emergency procedure and other policies that may be issued.

 

  • To maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to in turn promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.

 

  • Handle any guest complaints effectively and diplomatically to ensure the ultimate satisfaction of guests.

 

  • To ensure you consistently present yourself in a manner which makes a clear statement of professionalism, maintaining a sense of self pride which is reflected in both your appearance and your performance.

 

  • To at all times project a favorable image of Saigon Prince Hotel to enhance public recognition and acceptance of all its areas of endeavor

 

  • To assist the DOSM in the implementation of any programme for the further development of the hotel.

 QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:                 A diploma or degree qualification.

                                     Proficient in spoken and written English.

 Experience:               Previous hotel-related experience desired.
