JOB DESCRIPTION: The housekeeping manager/Executive is responsible for controlling , managing , planning , coordinating and participating in housekeeping activities such as the administration of benefits ,wages and salaries , labour and employee relations , controlling the guest rooms in good condition to sell to ensure a smooth operation . - Manages housekeeping department, ensuring compliance with all Resort policies and procedures both local and government regulations pertaining to employment practices. - Directs supervisor of training department and ensure all its activities are in accordance to the need of the hotel and all training program has been smoothly executed. - Supervises that staff coordinates in the work plan on safety , hygiene - Controlling all the expenses in department. - Controlling and observing guest room status, laundry and public section daily. - Develops and implements recruiting and screening systems and procedures in order to attract most qualified candidates for position vacancies. - Maintains and updates files on staff records, policies, procedures . - Prepares training plan for the low season. - Checking the reconciliation daily. - Make the P&L report monthly. - Organize the department monthly meeting to correct and/or improve the professional skill. - Make sure all staffs know how to do their job and follow in a professional way. - Ensures and evaluates career planning for all levels and suggest to Management for potential internal promotion. - Introduce to the guest all the services in the Resort. - Explains and directs how to reduce the expenses in department and Resort. - Coordinates with all HODs to solve the problem. - Evaluates all staff at least once a year. - Concern staff with the welcoming and orientation of the new comer. - Is responsible for the grooming and attire of the personnel. - Ensure a good atmosphere and efficient co-operation in the department. - Convenes meetings at regular intervals for information purposes. - Ensure that internal training courses be organized in the services , training programs - Provides all the experience in the job to improve professional skills. - Maintains a good working relation with all Department Head and departmental staff. - Coordinates functions and activate with other Department Head Quyền lợi được hưởng - Accident Insurance 24/24. - Social, Unemployment and Medical Insurance as Labor code. - Duty meals, company shuttle bus (from Phan Thiet to Ke Ga) - Staff house (if any). - Salary: 10.000.0000 – 12.000.000 VND Yêu cầu công việc - Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Room, Hotel Management or related field preferred. - 6 years hotel/ resort management experience - 3 years working experience in similar position - Good appearance, well groomed and healthy - Able to work under high-pressure. - Good communication skills in both Vietnamese and English. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Negotiation skill. - Creativity. - Solving problem skill. - Good training skills - Have “Can do” attitude.
