Customer relations

• Assist with ensuring all Finance Department quality standards are complied with and that policies and procedures are consistently applied.

• Coordinate activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.

• Assist with enhancing the product and service that is presented to the guest.

• Recommend changes of the product and services. Use market research to develop new products and services.

Professional techniques / Production

• Assist in the daily maintenance of total resort revenues and costs, along with all associated financial and accounting procedures, while maintaining high levels of guest expectations.

• Work in conjunction with the Chief Accountant to advise all resort department managers on the maintenance of all resort accounting standards & procedures while monitoring all costs of sales.

• Assist with identifying strengths and weaknesses, and the development of plans and strategies to ensure business & financial development.

• Assist with the timely compilation and dispatching of monthly financial results as per the set deadline.

• Assist with the direct link between efforts expended and decisions made and financial results achieved.

• Assist with controls over the elements that determine profit and loss.

• Assist in making decisions that relate to profit and loss.

• Assist with the financial management and reporting of the resort.

Team management and cross-departmental responsibilities

• Assist in directing and training all Finance Department associates.

• Assist in new-hire and on-going training.

• Assist with giving direction and the implementation of plans.

• Assist in monitoring plans’, their effectiveness and introduce changes in response to the marketplace, including setting targets, planning and scheduling work and performance indicators that are typical productivity and efficiency measures.

• Assist in operating the department within the Resort policies as they are related to the ethical codes, standards of good business practice and local laws and regulations.

Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment

• Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy

• Knows and applies the hotel's safety regulations (in case of fire etc)

• Ensures the safety of people and property

• Respects the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter" (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc), safety and security procedures

Yêu cầu công việc

Knowledge and Experience

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration

• Fluent in Vietnamese, and English language.

• Minimum 1 years experienced as General Accounting
