 • Translates operating forecasts into material requirements plans and thereby determines standard stock and re-order levels with Department Heads and Management

• Participates in negotiations for service contracts

• Identifies and develops reliable sources of supply

• Identifies and organizes adequate storage for all perpetual inventory items and implements corporate policy, products and initiatives in order to maximize cost effectiveness

• Establishes adequate record keeping and issuance procedures

• Protects inventories from waste, spoilage and theft

• Keeps abreast of the marketplace as to innovation and value

• Processes purchase requests from departments

• Obtains competitive quotations and bids

• Place approved orders

• Establishes standard purchasing specifications

• Establishes Purchasing Policy

• Supervises the hotels print shop to ensure timely and economical production of printed material

• Ensures that market surveys are completed in coordination with the Executive Chef, F&B Manager and Accountant

•Works with Superior on manpower planning and management needs

• Conduct Mid Year Review and End Year review for Purchasing Staff

• Conduct Roster arrangement for Purchasing Department

• To ensure that Purchasing officers are routinely trained and have full knowledge of their respective job responsibilities.

• Well support Purchasing Staff to improve and maintain Employee engagement

• Identifies staff with potential for promotion

• Attend operation daily briefing if neccesary and sharing guest feedback with Purchasing Department and other Department

• Support other Department in process urgent PO as per Guest’s requisition

• To be courteous and professional when in contact with outside companies/suppliers and to maintain good working relationships with all colleagues throughout the hotel.

• Ensures products and resources are assigned to the appropriate department and billed accordingly

• Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety.

• Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.

• Evaluate supplier performance, and negotiate contracts to secure the best pricing, terms, and quality.

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand andthe Company.

• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advance Excel skills.

• Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry trends.

• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.

• Experience within the hospitality industry or similar environments

• Good writing skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration- specialize in Foreign Trade

• Good communication skill certificate 

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in procurement and over 5 years in a leadership role
