Job description will be discussed in details during the interview: • The chef de cuisine reports to an executive chef and is responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen. In a way, the chef de cuisine is the first-in-command on a day-to-day basis, managing all other food preparation employees, right from the sous chef to the commis and daily part time chefs • Assuring top quality products at all times, prepares for all Food & Beverage outlets at consistently top quality, well presented fresh tasty & clean foods • Produces consistently top fresh products, with innovative – creative presented tasty foods with current & new menu trends. • Maintain control of all food related expenses & food cost. • To coordinate, trains and applies work safety standards, implements and maintains the highest food safety & hygiene (HACCP) requirements) at all times. • To train and develop the staff according to the human resources procedures and the quality guide provided by Meliá Hotels International. • Management and Leadership skills.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Culinary degree from an accredited restaurant school preferred. • Minimum of 3+ Years high volume catering experience and 7+ Years total culinary experience, experiences in a 5-star International hotel is an advance. • Organizational and Management skills • Good level of English, especially on the Food & Beverage segment. • Good level of guest communication skill and teamwork. • Honest, accurate and hard work
