HOTEL DESCRIPTION

Hai Phong, the third largest city in Vietnam is also the most important seaport in the northern part of the country. The city is located only a couple of hours from Hanoi (120km).

Mercure Hai Phong is scheduled to open by year

end. The hotel is located 5 minutes from Cat Bi International Airport.

The property include 225 hotel guest rooms and serviced apartments. Other facilities will features 1 ballroom, 6 meeting room, 1 swimming pool, 2 Restaurants and 2 Bars.

MISSION

• Analyze the hotel manpower requirements in order to recommend on selection and development activities to meet requirements. For pre-opening period, in charge of sourcing, selecting and recruiting employees.

• Be responsible for the formulation, recommendation and implementation of hotel policies and procedures.

• Guarantee constantly the application of hotel policies and procedures as well as local and government regulations, regarding all Talent & Culture, general affairs and labor issues.

• Be responsible for planning, managing, controlling, coordinating and participating in Talent & Culture activities. Internally and externally.

• Work in close relation with AccorHotels Vietnam regional office on different corporate projects and ensure that they are implemented.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years experience in hotel industry or similar field, with successful records and references.

• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

• Collaborative spirit, with strong entrepreneurial skills.

• Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively and positively.

• Leadership, learning & development management capability.

• Successful pre-opening records is a plus
