HOTEL DESCRIPTION

Hai Phong, the third largest city in Vietnam is also the most important seaport in the northern part of the country. The city is located only a couple of hours from Hanoi (120km).

Mercure Hai Phong is scheduled to open by year

end. The hotel is located 5 minutes from Cat Bi International Airport.

The property include 225 hotel guest rooms and serviced apartments. Other facilities will features 1 ballroom, 6 meeting room, 1 swimming pool, 2 Restaurants and 2 Bars.

MISSION

• Manage and coordinate all engineering facilities and activities for the Hotel to ensure compliance with contract requirements, schedules, and engineering budgets.
• Develop and establish engineering and construction policies, objectives, and systems consistent with the achievement of overall Hotel goals, objectives, and strategic plans.
• Serve as Hotel’s primary source of engineering expertise; provides high-level engineering consultation and systems design services, and oversees, coordinates, and monitors the quality of internal engineering consulting services provided to guests and associates.
• Demonstrate ability to direct and manage both technical and administrative staff.
• Examine and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
• Direct engineering and construction project inspection programs and ensure contractor compliance with codes.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years experience relevant experience working in international hotels.

• Successful pre-opening previous experience is a plus.

• Knowledge andn understanding of mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering design principles as applicable to construction/renovation.

• Fluent in the national language, and Business English.

• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills.
