Business Development Manager (Based in Ho Chi Minh)

 Perform Brand’s Services behaviours in daily operation basic towards the guests

 Drive to deliver Luxury Experiences to guests, to achieve Heartbeat target

 Develop and update department SOPs (standard Operation Procedure), JD (Job description) and implement it to enhance the guest experience

 Monitors competitors activities and assists in marketing intelligence

 Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target market

 Develops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/convention bureau, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel business

 Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place

 Conduct client interviews

 Entertain clients

 Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections

 Maintain regular contact with the IHG hotels in your region and the regional reservation office

 Has a broad knowledge of how the business is run, focuses on the major factors necessary to ensure that the business is successful and profitable

 Participate in the preparation of the Resort’s Strategic Plans, budget’s meeting, P&L meeting

 Establish and interpret key performance indicators to manage the department, consistently takes into accounts financial implications of business decisions and recommendations

 Educate, train and motivate the teams to achieve department and hotel revenue goals. Ensure staff has the information, datas, tools and equipment to successfully carry out job duties 

 Be responsible for your department P&L

 Sell all facets of the hotel

 Monitors existing business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximize business

 Grows existing business and establishes and pursues leads which will develop business

 Interfaces with operations on a timely basis

 Analyses sales mix and likely impact on hotel goals

Required skills:

 Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.

 Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.

 Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

 Good writing skills

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 

Experience : 

 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
