GENERAL MISSION/NHIỆM VỤ CHUNG
To act as a professional including all activities involved in obtaining materials at minimum costs.
Chuyên nghiệp trong các hoạt động liên quan đến mua sắm vật liệu với chi phí thấp.
To analyze the supply, demand, and prices and to assess the local events as they affect materials.
Phân tích cung cầu và giá cả, xem xét lại các sự kiện trong khách sạn vì nó có ảnh hưởng đến vật liệu được lựa chọn.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS /TRÁCH NHIỆM CHUNG
To consider first the interest of the company in all transactions and to carry out and believe in the company’s established policies.

To buy without prejudice, seeking to obtain the maximum ultimate value of each dollar of expenditure.

To subscribe to and work for honesty and truth in buying, and to denounce all forms and manifestation of commercial bribery.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES/TRÁCH NHIỆM HÀNH CHÍNH
To cooperate with all organizations and persons engaged in activities designed to enhance the development and standard of purchasing.
Hợp tác với các tổ chức, cá nhân trong các hoạt động để phát triển và tiêu chuẩn hoá việc mua bán.
To counsel and assist fellow purchasing personnel in the performance of their duties.
Tham vấn hỗ trợ đồng nghiệp mua sắm cá nhân trong công việc của họ.
To keep records of  purchasing development such as :
Ghi lại quá trình mua bán như:
- Purchase record.
Ghi chép việc mua bán
- Vendor record.
Ghi lại việc mua bán vặt
- Blueprint and specification record.
Lưu lại hoá đơn xanh và những trường hợp đặc biệt.
-    Print-Forms record.

To consider and set-up the Economic Ordering Quantity (EOQ).
Xem xét, thiết lập số lượng yêu cầu một cách tiết kiệm.
To find out new suppliers to make the price more competition.

To introduce the product to the F&B which is of industry standard but at a price lower than existing price.

To conduct market survey monthly and compare with the currect price.
Hàng tháng điều tra hiện hành so với giá cả trên thị trường.
To understand and implement the policy of cost effectiveness of each item to be purchased.

To introduce new items to the F&B which are available seasonally.
Giới thiệu với F&B những thứ mới trong mùa.
To have an effective knowledge on the import regulation and import procedure.

To monitor the repeat order and put effort to reduce the price based on market trend with the gradual openness of market.
Kiểm soát những phiếu đặt hang lặp lại thường xuyên để giảm gíá trị trên khuynh hướng thị trường ngày càng mở cửa.
To have a good negotiation skill.

COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TRÁCH NHIỆM THƯƠNG MẠI
To cultivate a sound supplier Relationship
Khai thác mối quan hệ tốt với những người cung cấp.  HUMAN RESPONSIBILITIES/TRÁCH NHIỆM NHÂN SỰ
To plan and organize periodical departmental training for subordinates for the content, the quality of presentation, accuracy and investigate to clarify all points of variances.
Lập kế hoạch tổ chức đào tạo bộ phận định kỳ cho cấp dưới nội dung, chất lượng thuyết trình, độ chính xác, điều tra làm rõ các điểm khác nhau.
Prepare cash and fund flow including planning for cash management.
Chuẩn bị tiền mặt, quỹ : lập kế hoạch quản lý tiền mặt.
RELATIONS /QUAN HỆ
Directly responsible to the Director of Finance.
Chịu trách nhiệm trực tiếp trước giám đốc tài chính.
Work closely with other departments and attend related meetings to participate in providing or receiving constructive criticism in regards to the department in order to improve efficiency and productivity.
Phối hợp chặt chẽ với bộ phận khác tham gia các cuộc họp liên quan, tham gia phê bình có tính xây dựng để cải thiện hiệu quả và chất lượng công việc.
REPLACEMENT AND TEMPORARY MISSIONS/THAY THẾ VÀ TRÁCH NHIỆM TẠM THỜI
To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform and other duties as designated by management.

Requirement:
• Proven working experience as a purchasing manager.
• At least 2 years of working experience at the same position.
• Pre-Opening Experience highly regarded.
• Hospitality background is a must.
• Strong negotiating skills with managing quality, after sales support, warranties and payment terms.
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
• A knack for negotiation and networking.
• Working experience of vendor management software.
• Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures.
• Solid judgement along with decision making skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation skills, regional and market knowledge, strong interpersonal skills.
• Passion, drive, enthusiasm, with an obsessive attention to detail.
• Strong Follow-up abilities.
