SUMMARY

We are looking for a Purchasing Executive to buy products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations. You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels.

Purchasing Executive responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs.) For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.

Ultimately, you’ll create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Be responsible for all purchasing activities including but not limited to restaurants/project.

- Research potential suppliers both local and oversea.

- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.

- Negotiate with the suppliers best possible contract terms of agreement and pricing for goods to help keep the Company expenditure to a minimum.

- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

- Review quality of purchased products.

- Follow up with all department orders with suppliers and update accordingly.

- - Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.

- Coordinate with restaurant staffs to ensure proper storage.

- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.

- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices into Purchase Order files.

- Do monthly tender list, market list and updating into system.

- Collect invoices and process the payment.

- Comply with the Company Fire, Health and Safety policies.

- Handle other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant fields.
-          Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
-          At least four to five years’ working experience as a Purchaser, having experience in the hospitality industry is preferable.
-          Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
-          Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
-          Be strong at communication and negotiation skills.
-          Ability to work in a computer based, multi-task environment. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
-          Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, and organizational.
-          Passionate, humble, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
-   Be able to understand and execute the purchasing procedure for controlling purpose.
