Currently, we are seeking an experienced Outlet Manager for our Signature restaurant Square One to join Park Hyatt Saigon - A market leader in innovation, design and service excellence, offering our guests world class drinking and dining venues, event spaces and bespoke experiences.
Our signature restaurant - Square One combines the history, nature and thrilling culinary adventure from France and Vietnam to offer a truly unique dining experience, offering seating for 150 guests including 3 private dining venues, The Cellar room, The Library and The Kitchen.

• Integrating 2 stunning open show kitchens, and featuring the “Cellar Bar” with the most prestigious and extensive wine lists in Vietnam, boasting 300+ references and hand selected boutique wines by the glass.
• After 5 Bar, the adjacent al fresco space vaunts unique views of the Saigon Opera house and invites guests to dine and wine while enjoying the bustling atmosphere of Saigon’s District 1. Square One also holds the exclusive right, hosting the unique dining experience “Le Petit Chef” in Vietnam, a creative and adventurous F&B concept.
• Square One's lively and convivial ambiance will entice our guests to discover new dishes while creating lasting memories in the heart of Saigon.
• The success candidate will thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment; have a proven ability to manage heavy tasks loads and operational requirements with poise and elegance.

Job description

• Assists to ensure that the Food and Beverage activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy.
• Ensures all menus are well prepared and presentable.
• Reviews the beverage lists on a periodic basis to keep the offerings interesting and diverse.
• Provides exceptional services to guests and internal customers in other department at all time to maintain positive interactions with good working relationships.
• Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
• Spends time in the Operation to ensure that it is managed well by the respective Stewarding associates and functions to the fullest expectations.
• Maximizes associate productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals as well as the expectations of all guests.
• Assists in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan for Food and Beverage.
• Manage cost proactively based on key performance indicators, works with the respective Managers as appropriate.
• Assists in the inventory management and ongoing maintenance of hotel operating equipment and other assets.
• Assists in the preparation, utilization and update of the Annual Marketing Plan, broken down as necessary by department.
• Evaluates local, national and international market trends, vendors and other hotel/restaurant operations constantly to make sure that the hotel’s operations remain competitive
• Monitors all operations, especially during peak business periods, working through the respective Managers to make adjustments where necessary.
• Tastes and monitors the food and beverage products served throughout the operation, provides feedback where appropriate.
• Checking and ensure all outlet area is well arranged and all equipment is in good order (including all stores)

Yêu cầu công việc

• Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge
• A creative, passionate, ambitious and customer orientated personality
• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager in a 5-star hotel or large restaurant with luxury standard
• Familiarity with restaurant management software like Micros system
• Great operational, administrative, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Good organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
• The position is open for both local and expat
