REPORTS TO: Supervisor | Guest Relations Manager | Assistant
Manager
POSITION SUMMERY:
As a skilled Waiter or Waitress to take orders and deliver food and beverages to our guests.
The right Waiter/Waitress uplifts the dining experience by turning moments into memories for all our guests, ensuring that he/she gives exceptional service w/ a smile.
We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.
Waiter/Waitress responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties and collecting the bill. If you are able to perform well in fast-paced environments, we’d like to meet you.
To be a successful Waiter or Waitress, you should be polite with our guests and make sure they enjoy their meals. You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our Kitchen Team to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
Ultimately, it is the duty of our Waiters/Waitresses to provide an excellent overall dining experience for our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To be flexible in attitude, approach and in working hours.
2. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their drink, meals and take action correct any problems.
3. Collect payments from customers.
4. Write guest’s drink, food orders on order slips give to you by Soho, memorize order is and input into the POS for the bar &kitchen.
5. Take order from guests for food or beverage.
6. Serve food or beverages to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
7. Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, making recommendation upon request.
8. Clean tables or counters after guests have finished dining.
9. Inform guests of any promotions, or out of stock items.
10. Stock service areas with supplies such as glasses, napkins, forks, knives, chopsticks, ashtrays, tooth pics and any other items needed for service.
11. Explain to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
12. Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as napkins, chinaware and glassware.
13. Remove dishes and glasses from table or counters; take them to kitchen for cleaning.
14. Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations and by greeting, seating and thanking guests.
15. Perform cleaning duties, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathroom.
16. Bring wine selections to tables with appropriate glasses and pour the wines for guests.
17. Escort guests to their tables.
18. Describe and recommend and upsell F&B to increase the revenue.
19. Familiars and have good knowledge of the outlet’s menu.
20. Provide guests with information about local areas and give directions.
21. Attend a daily briefing.
BEHAVIOUR:
- Calm, self-motivated, positive attitude, confident, open minded, willing to learn, good communication skills, innovative, self-starter, contributor

Yêu cầu công việc

EDUCATION:
- Proven working experience as Waiter
- Working experience in hospitality
- Experience with needs assessment techniques, quality standards and satisfaction evaluation techniques
- Proficiency in English, multilingualism will be considered an asset
- Highly responsible and reliable with a professional presentation
