Linen and Uniform Supervisor

1.Has knowledge of the operations of uniform / linen room and is familiar with the linen pars. 

2.Supervises and conducts training on a regular basis. 

3.Monitors the progress of various training programmes on their effectiveness. 

4.Creates a positive and highly motivated working environment that promotes develops teamwork. 

5.Utilizes and develops communication tools and channels for the dissemination of information and workflow in the section. 

6.Supervises the daily issue and repair of all uniforms and linen. 

7.Reports damages / misuse or loss of uniforms and linen to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper. 

8.Be familiar with and gets involved with care of equipment and reports damages or maintenance problems to designated persons/ department. 

9.Ensures that linen pars for the floors are correctly set. 

10.Periodically checks on set up and delivery of mobile exchange shelving. 

11.Advises Assistant Executive Housekeeper regarding shortage of linen in circulation due to losses or other circumstances. 

12.Ensures that staff uniforms are maintained in impeccable order. 

13.Coordinates with Laundry pertaining to linen and uniforms. 

14.Acts on requests and needs of other departments promptly and efficiently. 

15.Maintains accurate index cards for issue of exchanges and replacements of uniforms. 

16.Maintains accurate records for issues of shoes and stockings. 

17.Oversees uniform/linen inventories as per established procedures. 

18.Ensures the accuracy and proper filing of inventory records.  Places timely order before inventory falls below par level. 

19.Prepares uniform yearly budget. 

20.Ensures the highest level of hygiene, safety and security by facilitation an effective training programmes that delivers a high degree of awareness amongst staff.

- College Degree or above

- Vietnamese - Excellent level, written & spoken

English - Good level, written & spoken

- Knowledge of third language is an advantage

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word and Excel, PowerPoint
