Mô tả công việc

- Over-all in charge of the Banquet Sales Administration.

- Review & provide recommendations in updating the Banquets Sales Manual (P&Ps) as necessary.

- Ensure execution of prescribed booking, correspondence and filing procedures.

- Oversee Banquet/Conventions Budget & Targets.

- Monitor regular production of Banquets/Social/Incentives & Conventions (combined rooms & MICE businesses).

- Hold daily coordination meeting with Sales Executive/Coordinator.

- Hold daily coordination meeting with Banquet Service, Chef and Steward or as scheduled and needed.

- Conducts daily briefing and tracing with Banquets team as needed.

- Adhere to Hotel policies and review/update Events management policies twice a year.

- Prepare and submit monthly and weekly Events and Conventions Sales Report and daily summary of functions to F&B Director

- Ensure that Banquet Event Order are completed and does not conflict with the issued action memo for each function for distribution.

- Maintain Tracer System that brings alive and existing inactive files, newspaper clippings, mailing list and other Banquet sales leads.

- Establish a good rapport with the Banquets Service department and total F&B and Kitchen department.

- Train or familiarize Events & Sales Executive/Coordinator on their duties and responsibilities.

- Ensure that all requirements of organized events are finalized in detail to the guest satisfaction.

- Introduce the host or organizer to Key Events personnel prior to function.

- Ensure that “Thank You” letter is sent within the month after function is completed.

- Ensure that F&B menus are sold at established hotel sales prices.

- Ensure that rental charges on function rooms and hotel equipment are quoted according to established prices.

- Special rates are confirmed only after discussion with Sales & Marketing personnel from respective satellite offices and after consulting with Executive Chef or F&B Director.

- Visit or call every major local hotels every 3 months, maintain communication, determine competition and general leads for new business.

- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by F&B Director.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Education: College Graduate (preferably Business, Tourism, Marketing).

- Experience : at least 2 years’ experience as Sales Executive/Manager for Banquets/Events, 1 year experience as Events Sales Manager.

- Personality: Organized, pleasing, aggressive, hardworking
