Mô tả công việc
1. Reports to work on time in proper uniform and well groomed.
2. Handles Room Service orders and telephone calls. Utilizes the guest name whenever possible.
3. Takes over duties from previous shift and read the daily logbook.
4. Gives the highest quality of service to all guests.
5. Maintains a friendly yet discreet manner with all guests when greeting, answering them and throughout their telephone experience.
6. Understands all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, methods of preparation, and proper service.
7. Keeps mise en place of all menus in good quality and quantity.
8. Picks up the guest list (including allergy, special requests, meal plan, etc...) before every service.
9. Organizes prompt trolley and tray pick up after each order.
10. Prepares amenity program according to guest occupancy and needs.
11. Follows the correct and consistent service techniques for various meal periods as set out by management.
12. Controls usage of all the food and beverage items appropriate usage of equipment, tools, and service equipment.
13. Makes sure that silverware/ tableware are clean, stocked to capacity and remove any damaged silverware/ tableware and return it to the Stewarding department.
14. Be responsible for checking set-up, service & breakdown of the room service area.
15. Accepts customer orders efficiently and ensure the customers are served quickly (20 min as a maximum).
16. Once in room set-up the table properly and display the order.
17. Ensures that all customers are charged correctly, present the bill and take payment or signature.
18. Communicates with all guest to ensure quality satisfaction with both food and service.
19. Applies up-selling techniques whenever possible.
20. Communicates with management, kitchen staff, and serving staff to ensure effective delivery.
21. Performs in accordance with Melia Yangon employee rules and regulation handbook.
22. Performs other duties assigned by the Superiors.
