Processes hotel reservations via all channels accurately and handles daily correspondence with guests or partners. Cooperate with sales to develop room revenue and customer services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processes reservations from travel agents, online travel agents, corporates and direct booking.

• Knows all the room types, room details as well as their location and layout.

• Knows the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans.

• Knows all hotel policy, hotel services and products details.

• Handles daily correspondence. Responds to inquiries and makes reservations as needed.

• Communicates reservation information to front office.

• Understands the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.

• Processes cancellations, modifications, no-shows and promptly relays this information to the front office.

• Helps develop room revenue, especially in direct booking.

• Processes and monitors advances deposit requirements.

• Tracks future room availabilities on the basis of reservations.

• Creates and maintains reservation records by date of arrival.

• Open and close the availability as and when required of hotel in all the GDS channels, IDS channels and on the hotel website.

• Configuring rates and details on hotels Property Management Systems (PMS).

• Maintains a clean and neat appearance and work area at all times.

• Promotes goodwill by beings courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, managers, and fellow employees.
