Mô tả công việc

Overview of Duties / Main Responsibilities

▪ Revenue control and revenue reporting

Customer relations

▪ Maintain a close liaison with:

         b. Guest Service Agents - concerning room revenue and statistical data related matters

         c. Outlet Operations Manager / Outlet Cashiers - concerning Food & Beverage revenue related matters

         d. General Accountant / Asisst Chief Account - for instructions and general guidance

         e. Director of room/ Financial Controller /Outlet Operations Manager / Sales Manager - for advance information

         f. Food & Beverage Controller - For POS related matters

Professional techniques / Production

Audit all revenue transactions of the hotel, and record them according to ACCOR’s policy and procedures.

▪ Audit all revenue transactions for accuracy, and ensure PMS Trial Balance tallies.

▪ Audit all revenue transactions and confirm techniques and methods used to conform with local standards and meet the ACCOR policies and procedures.

▪ Compare income data and post General Cashier’s report consistently, and update the General Ledger.

▪ Produce management reports as required on timely basis.

▪ Review the Night Auditor’s logbook, and bring matters of importance to the General Accountant attention immediately.

Management and administration

· Undertaking internal audits to ensure the company meets its financial, operational and compliance objectives

· Supporting the development of an assurance planning reporting process

· Reporting on control deficiencies to management and making recommendations to mitigate risk and add value

· Challenging current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement

· Engaging remediation of identified issues through follow-up

· Playing an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices

· Communicating with a variety of stakeholders across the company

Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment

▪ Ensure proper care of all equipment and furniture entrusted for his use and use of employees reporting to him, such as computers, calculators, and general office equipment.

▪ Be well-familiar with the Hotel’s policies and procedures, well-acquainted with the physical layout of the Hotel and its premises and knowledgeable of Hotel’s emergency procedures with regards to fire, medical, bomb threat, black-out and evacuation.

▪ Show behaviour geared in a way as to represent the Hotel in the best possible way at all times and be punctual at work.

▪ Wear appropriate business attire (as per local policy) and ensures a proper appearance, so as to represent the Hotel in the best possible way.

Profile

Education / Professional experience

• University graduate or equivalent diploma in Finance / Accounting

▪ At least 5 years experience in the same capacity preferrably in 4* or 5* Hotels

Skills / Qualities

▪ Special skills in Sun System and Opera know-how

▪ Health in good condition

▪ Good second English;
